About Us
Sherry Darden was given the name of Business Plan Lady after offering monthly workshops throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. When her name was not recalled, they would simply say..."You are the Business Plan Lady!".
In 2004, she was certified as a Small Business Development Specialist, and a Senior Small Business Development Specialist in 2006, and recently January, 2010 as a Certified Business Development Specialist by the North Texas Small Business Development Centers. This is the highest certification to be obtained by a consultant!
As 20+ years tax practitioner, Sherry got her start in this area, by being trained and employed by one of world's largest tax service in high school while majoring in Accounting. In 2002, she was trained by the IRS to teach the Small Business Tax Workshops and since then has taught well over 200 of those since then.
Sherry spent the last seven years providing small business start-up workshops, business plan workshops, and a wide range of entrepreneur sessions across the country. She has contributed to local newsletters that offers her wealth of information to the general public.
